RESTORING THE SWEETNESS

When restrictions of the pandemic interrupted Maddie’s senior year at Concordia, life didn’t feel real. Sent home to finish the year online, she lost the sweetness of daily life with her roommates. She found herself feeling drained; her ability to engage in online classes didn’t match her desire to do so.

 

At the same time, her attention was drawn to the degree to which we are interconnected. She found herself grateful for the grace she has been given—and the grace she was able give herself. Listen to her wise observations.
